Solid thermoplastics
Depending on the composition of fluids, operating conditions and equipment use, our compatibility study can highlight the need to use thermoplastics for anti-corrosion purposes (the layer in contact with the product).
The work consists in forming and welding the thermoplastic in order to obtain the desired part
In this way, we can create all types of parts (squares, rectangles, circles, cones, etc.) in all sizes, from very small to very large (for examples, 6m in diameter in the case of cylindrical parts).
The CITP Chaponnay plant (near Lyons) has a special thermoplastics forming workshop (Pehd, PPh, PVC, PVC-C, PVDF, ECTFE, FEP) and a joinery workshop to design tools for special parts.
Our welders have received training in accordance with the NFA88-800 standard for all transformed thermoplastics.
This technology applies to all devices which we manufacture: gas scrubbers, horizontal and vertical storage tanks, columns, and piping.
In addition to the above, CITP can also provide the following services on request:
- ransport inside France and internationally (proximity to a river port)
- Unloading and installation
- Contact molding on site
- Piping, studies, pre-fabrication and on-site assembly, testing
We perform compatibility studies according to your fluids, their operating temperatures and operating conditions
On completion of this extensive process, we are in a position to define the best dual-laminate thermoplastic materials.
We carry out equipment studies:
- Design calculations
- The various controls defined in your specifications or/and the construction codes
- The manufacturer dossier
Our customer references:
ARKEMA, SOLVAY, RHODIA, TECHNIP, LAB …
The services of a real partner
For all of its activities, CITP makes:
- The compatibility study
- The study of equipment
- The calculation notes
- The different controls previously defined
- The folder
We produce for you according to your request:
- Transport in France and abroad
- Unloading and setting up
- The strata on site
- Part piping, design, prefabrication and assembly on site
- Testing
