Reservoir covers / Gas containments
During the treatment of residual waters or effluents, equipping a reservoir with a flexible cover has two decisive advantages: when you use an impermeable coated fabric, it lets you confine the atmosphere and deal with bad smells; it also prevents the proliferation of algae under the effect of UV light.
The technical fabric’s resistance to attacking chemical agents in the gaseous sky is provided by its anti-corrosion coating. The choice of coating will depend on the atmosphere to be confined.
Covering reservoirs is of potential interest in a wide number of cases: public authority residual water basins located in purification stations; industrial effluent treatment basins; potable water retention basins, storage of chemical products.
The rigid covers that we produce are perfectly adapted to the topology of the reservoir, new or renovated.
We can offer you different types of covers, depending on the operating constraints of the basin, the treatment applied to the sludge purified, and the environment to be protected:
- immobile covers: this can be pressurized, tensioned with cables, or supported on a framework
- moveable covers: this adapts to an existing reservoir and its installations, such as rotating bridges, gangways and catwalks, etc
- a retractable cover: this allows you to perform operations on the sludge contained in the reservoir
In each case, the sizing of our covers takes account of the climatic stress, snow and wind at the purification station’s site. Our study will take your operational constraints into proper consideration : gangways and catwalks, rotating bridges, inspection ports, sludge stirrers, piping throughlets, etc
