Silent chimney flues
Soon after neutralization, fumes are sent to chimneys or flues to be rejected into the atmosphere.
Thanks to a project secured 30 years ago for the nuclear plants operated by the French Electricity Board (EDF), involving 25 self-supporting chimneys, 3 m in diameter, 55 m high and each weighing about 20 tonnes, CITP acquired specialist expertise which has been added to in the course of subsequent similar projects.
CITP handles the manufacturing of silencers, made from thermoplastics or FRP depending on your process, as well as the fitting of the silencers to chimneys.
CITP has the necessary human skills and tools to help you with your projects:

- Finite element calculation and modeling software.
- Wind and Earthquake calculations.
